Social Fabric
My story began as a search for the embodied self, lost to the mystery of protestant fundamentalism. This journey into the history and memory of family life in Adelaide in the 50’s and 60’s, was made by engaging with the materiality of painting and considering this knowledge through the lens of feminism and psychoanalytic theory. The discoveries I made were about the realities of coexisting with difference.
